What Is Manos?

Manos Accelerator is a mentorship-driven accelerator program that provides “hands-on” education, business resources, infrastructure, capital, and guidance for promising startup companies led by Latinos, moving them onto a fast track to success. Manos Accelerator is a first of its kind accelerator targeting Latino entrepreneurs who are generally under-represented in early-stage ventures.

Overview:

The Manos’ one month program is designed for tech-based startups seeking to grow their business far beyond where it is today and develop scalable and innovative solutions for global markets. Manos accelerator will help them accelerate by providing access to the best minds in Silicon Valley so when they return home they are now tapped into the most powerful network in the world. This program is geared towards startup teams that already have a defined business model and a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and some early traction. The participants will focus on clear path revenue strategies. They will also be exposed to the best practices and techniques from Silicon Valley experts.

Objectives:

  • Identify the key elements needed to succeed in an innovative environment like Silicon Valley.
  • Learn how to convince an investor or potential customer.
  • Be able to build valuable relationships and networks in Silicon Valley, through newly acquired contacts during the program.

For Who:

This program is geared for early stage startups that are led by Latino entrepreneurs in the high-tech industry. Specifically, this means that at least one of the founders is of Hispanic-Latino origin/descent. We are interested in startups focused in the software as a service, mobile space, IoT, cloud computing space, fintech, AR / VR and AI. The startup must be able to demonstrate a MVP have a team in place for at least one year.

  • Business Model Canvas / Value Proposition.
  • Pitch Deck Workshop.
  • Product to market Fit -MVP.
  • 20 + ways to fund your company.
  • Startup Valuation / Cap tables.
  • Business Visas and Immigration.
  • Go to market strategy.
  • Metrics to measure progress.

Entrepreneurial Sales Session:

  • Go to Market Strategy & Execution.
  • Building a Scalable, Repeatable, Sales Process.
  • Transitioning Sales from the Founders to a Dedicated Sales Team.
  • From Startup Sales to Growth Company Sales.

Value Relationships:

Attend pitch events on bi-weekly basis and meet one on one with Micro Fund Investors. Assigned Mentors for each startup team. Meet with Corporations and influencers. Build relationships with potentials customers and partners. Specific and personalized meeting with investors for each Startup.

Receive frequent one-on-one time with the most influential entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley to provide guidance, share progress, and receive crucial feedback.

 Workshops

Facilitated by our “hands-on” experts, participants will learn how to build a scalable business model, attract and maintain customers, and generate revenue for their startup.

Work Space

Our facility provides access to a number of amenities, as well as networking opportunities with other like-minded startup entrepreneurs, a community of ideas, inspiration, and peer-to-peer support.

Demo Day

Each startup will pitch to investors in an interactive setting. Our shared goal is to help participants exit the accelerator program on a fast, upwards trajectory toward their company’s specific growth objectives.
